About the certification
Social and environmental demands today require a specific certification to assess how companies and farmers implement social and environmental practices. Control Union provides the CU Fair Choice certification, a fair trade and social standard developed based on humanitarian, social, environmental, and economic principles.
This standard is applicable to any type of organisation independent of its scale
Criteria
CU Fair Choice has developed its criteria upon Control Union’s experience of auditing various global organisations, based on four main aspects:
