Seafood Task Force brings together major retailers, seafood processors, feed producers, NGOs, and certification and auditing bodies to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in seafood supply chains. These include combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, eradicating forced labor and unethical recruitment practices, and enhancing traceability from sea to plate. While the initiative initially focused on improving conditions within the Thai seafood sector, its impact and model have expanded globally, setting a new benchmark for responsible sourcing and industry cooperation.
