SRCCS – Sustainable Regenerated Cellulosics Content Standard
Sustainable Regenerated Cellulosics Content Standard (SRCCS) formerly recognized as Sustainable Viscose Chain of Custody Standard (SVCOC), was initially crafted by Control Union Certifications (CUC) in 2020, with collaborative backing from the renowned global brand C&A.

SRCCS
The primary objective of SRCCS is to meticulously trace the origin of Man-Made Cellulosic Fibers (MMCF), ensuring it is derived from sustainably managed forests, consciously sourced textile post-consumer waste and Plant based agro-residue inputs.
About the standard
The SRCCS standard is a globally acknowledged, voluntary, and comprehensive product certification standard. It defines clear benchmarks for third-party verification of Sustainable Regenerated Cellulosic Fiber content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, risk assessment, and safe chemical management. The main objective of SRCCS is to promote the widespread adoption of sustainable regenerated cellulosic fibers across various products, thereby supporting efforts to reduce environmental impact.
Man-made cellulosic fibers
This program was developed in response to the growing demand within the supply chain to enhance transparency, integrity, and traceability of sustainable regenerated cellulosic fibers commonly known as man-made cellulosic fibers. The SRCCS standard is designed for chain of custody verification, covering materials sourced from responsibly managed forest wood pulp, consciously sourced post-consumer textile waste, and plant-based agro-residue pulp. The production certification standard certifies the presence of sustainable regenerated cellulosic fibers from the first processing stage through to the final product, while ensuring compliance with social, chemical, and environmental sustainability criteria throughout the production process.
The Sustainable Regenerated Cellulosics Content Standard (SRCCS), formerly known as the Sustainable Viscose Chain of Custody Standard (SVCOC), was originally developed by Control Union Certifications (CUC) in 2020 with the collaborative support of leading global fashion brand C&A.
