Control Union Indonesia announces the formal handover of the Green Choice certificate to @bobocabinsukawana, following successful assessment against the Green Choice standard. Recognized as the first property certified in Indonesia and the second in the world under the Green Choice standard.

The certificate was presented to Indra Gunawan (CEO & Co-founder of Bobobox) by Dirk Teichert (Vice Chairman Control Union World Group), alongside Gayan Wejesiriwardana (Managing Director of Control Union Indonesia).

This certification reflects the implementation of measurable sustainability practices in accordance with defined Green Choice criteria within the hospitality sector.

The Green Choice program is included in the second iteration of the Travalyst Certification Initiative, supporting transparency, accountability and consistency in sustainability-related information for the travel industry.

Accommodation providers across Indonesia are encouraged to participate in sustainability initiatives aligned with recognized standards. This certification marks an important step in the implementation of sustainability practices within the hospitality sector in Indonesia.
